Museum für Fotokopie in Mülheim an der Ruhr reopened after renovation on 5-5-2023.

On May 5, 2023, the Museum für Fotokopie (MFF) officially reopened its doors after a lengthy renovation.

The museum, which has existed in Mülheim for many years, focuses not only on historic copiers but also, and especially, on art that can be made with copiers.

To this end, director Klaus Urbons and curator Therese Schuleit invite well-known artists to projects.

The MFF website has a special form and contains a lot of information about the MFF and (copy-related) art projects inside and outside the museum.

With its reopening, the Museum joins a major art project of the city of Mülheim, “Ruhr Ding: Schlaf.” To this end, the beautifully refurbished exhibition hall is partly furnished with works of art that fit the theme “Sleep.”

The Océ Museum was present at the opening in the person of Aart van Meeteren, contact person for MFF.
