Festive reopening of the Océ Museum after renovation on May 12, 2022

On May 12, 2022, we reopened the Océ Museum in a festive ceremony.

In addition to the Océ Heritage Foundation and the Museum team, present were members of the founding family Van der Grinten and representatives of Canon Production Printing (business continuation of Océ), sponsors of the museum, the Municipality of Venlo, connected museums, the local and national cultural sectors and many volunteers of our museum.

Chair of the day, Carlijn Compen, presented speeches by foundation president Marcel Pennings, museum director/curator Jolijn Brouwers, alderman (culture) Marij Pollux and foundation member Marcel Frielinck.

A billboard with the new museum theme “Experience the 7 stories of Océ” was then unveiled by Marcel Pennings, Jolijn Brouwers and Mrs Flop van de Loo of the Van der Grinten family.

After the official part, those present were given a short tour of the renovated museum.
